One of the movie theaters here still does advertising of "now showing" films with hand-painted plywood posters. A couple of examples are shown. For those of you who are wondering what movies we see here, you will note that we get most of the current hits in English shown at about the same time as the rest of the world. Locally produced Tagalog films come along about one a month.
We usually pay about $2.00 to $2.25 admission depending on the show.
